Location: Located just 15 miles from Oxford, the Old Swan is in the picturesque village of Minster Lovell.
This quintessentially English inn and adjoining mill (over the road!) offers a relaxed yet professional environment to work in, with free parking spaces available for our team!
SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.
Service charge can be in the region of £285 a month (around £3,400 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee.

We’re seeking friendly, warm and cheerful individuals who are happy to work together as a team and, importantly, want to have fun. We welcome candidates who are new to the industry as well as experienced ones - what matters most to us is that you have a positive and engaging personality, you are self-motivated and enjoy the buzz and excitement of a busy hotel atmosphere.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, we need a strong hands on Pub Manager, who is operationally focussed, great with people, knows about pubs and inns and can lead a close-knit team. For this role you will need to have a good knowledge of Inns/ pubs with bedrooms or hotels as our guests that join us overnight are a key part of our operation. The Pub Manager will have responsibility for the day to day running of the property, making all service times run smoothly and we deliver a great experience to our guests, whilst being sure we are remaining commercially focussed.
Our dream candidate
* Are hands on, move around the businesses to ensure that they are a focal point for our guests during service periods.
* Is a good communicator, always talking to the team at all levels about what is going on the business
* Will have held a management role in a pub or inn before and holds a personal licence or BII qualification to enable them to obtain a personal license.
* Has good cellar management experience and knows how to manage stock levels well.
* Has the capability to develop and retain a great team.
* Can work at different times across the business. As Pub Manager they will write their own rota, but will need to balance their time effectively across all parts of the day and week, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
* Is commercially focussed and knows how to drive profitability as well as deliver a great guest experience.
