Your Role as an SEN Teacher As an SEN Teacher, you will help students with different learning needs by creating lessons that match their abilities. You will build a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom where every student feels valued and supported. What You Will Do as a SEN Teacher Create and follow personalised education plans (IEPs) for each student. Use creative and engaging teaching methods to help students learn. Track student progress and give helpful feedback. Work closely with other staff to build a positive school environment. Keep up to date with the latest SEN teaching methods and ideas. What We’re Looking For You must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification. Experience teaching students with special educational needs. Good understanding of the SEN curriculum and current teaching practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A positive attitude and the ability to motivate students.
