Assistant Centre Manager
Location: Bideford
Salary: up to £34,000 basic, £40,000 OTE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am – 4pm (with day off in week)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Centre Manager to join our clients workshop based in Bideford. Supporting the Centre Manager, you will help deliver the company’s business objectives through effective day‑to‑day management of the Centre. You will lead by example, maintain high operational and customer service standards, and take an active role in customer interaction and team coordination.

Deliver company business objectives through efficient Centre management
Maintain strong internal controls and operational excellence
Ensure customers are served promptly and professionally
Maintain a clean, organised and professional Centre environment
Review business performance regularly to ensure targets are met
Control Centre costs within budget
Follow brand strategy to maximise profit margins and supplier support
Reduce waste and manage consumables efficiently
Allocate work effectively to maximise team productivity
Ensure daily takings are checked, secured and banked within required timescales
Assisting Vehicle Technicians with Vehicle Maintenance when requiredAssistant Centre Manager Requirements:
Applicants must have a proven track record in an Automotive Assistant Manager
City & Guilds or NVQ, or other relevant technical qualifications
