Job Title: Finance ERP Project Consultant (M&A)
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Length: Initial 11 months with potential for additional projects from there
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Consultant with expertise in Finance and related technologies to lead the stand-up of new finance ERP systems as part of a large-scale M&A integration. This role demands a professional who can confidently assess the current finance technology landscape, define the future-state operating model, and drive the implementation of new systems across multiple global entities.
Responsibilities
1. Act as an ambassador, showcasing confidence, experience, and skill in executing mergers, acquisitions, separations, integrations, and carve-outs.
2. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the customer's existing finance systems across all brands and entities.
3. Define the target operating model and system landscape post-merger.
4. Lead the stand-up and implementation planning of ERP systems and a Microsoft Dynamics platform.
5. Validate current platforms and support the selection of future finance systems.
6. Manage integration considerations between systems.
7. Operate as a senior consultant/project manager within a complex carve-out environment.
8. Work directly with the global end customer, ensuring exceptional service levels, communication, and time management.
9. Coordinate across multiple entities and multiple brands with differing system baselines.
10. Ensure all deliverables align with M&A timelines, compliance requirements, and global finance standards.
Essential Skills
11. Proven background as a Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Project Consultant within Finance transformation.
12. Strong experience in M&A, carve-outs, or large-scale organisational integrations.
13. Hands-on knowledge of Finance systems and technologies.
14. Ability to work with senior stakeholders in a high-visibility, high-expectation environment.
15. experience delivering in fast-paced, confidential, and complex programme structures.
16. Comfortable working fully remotely with global teams.
