About the Role:
We are working on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive SEN/SEMH school in the London Borough of Redbridge to recruit an experienced and passionate Science Teacher for a long-term position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science specialist who thrives in a supportive environment and enjoys helping young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons (KS3–KS4).

Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN/SEMH needs and varying abilities.
*
Create a safe, structured and positive classroom environment.
*
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote emotional well-being and resilience.
Requirements:
*
Experience teaching Science in a school or alternative provision setting (QTS not essential).
*
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
*
Enthusiastic, patient and adaptable with a genuine interest in supporting students with SEN/SEMH.
*
Available for a long-term role and committed to making a difference.
