About the Role
We're looking for a capable Full Stack Developer to join our team in Oxford. You'll work across the full product lifecycle, from database to UI, building and maintaining web applications on a modern cloud-native stack. This is an office-based role suited to someone who enjoys collaborative, hands-on development.
Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain full stack applications using Node.js and React
* Model and manage relational data in PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimisation
* Deploy and operate containerised services on Azure (AKS, Container Apps, or equivalent)
* Use GitHub Copilot effectively as part of your daily development workflow, including agent-mode tasks
* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint ceremonies
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable software
Required Skills
* Strong proficiency in Node.js (REST APIs, async patterns, TypeScript preferred)
* Solid React experience — component architecture, state management, hooks
* PostgreSQL — query writing, indexing, migrations
* Azure cloud services — deployments, storage, networking basics
* Containers — Docker, and familiarity with orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS a plus)
* Confident use of GitHub Copilot, including agent mode and prompt-driven workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep) and PowerShell scripting
