Summary:
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months - possibility to be extended
Location: Leighton Buzzard - Hybrid required onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays each week
Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour - Umbrella
Hours: 39 hours per week - flexibility on start times due to working with customers overseas with an 8 hour time differenceDuties Include:
Own the delivery of multi-disciplinary programmes, ensuring they are completed on-time, on-budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Serve as the primary interface with customers, managing their expectations and communications throughout the programme lifecycle.
Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to hit critical programme milestones.
Develop, track, and maintain integrated schedules, budgets, risk registers, and key performance indicators.
Identify risks and opportunities, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Prepare and deliver programme reviews, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
Support scope management and commercial negotiations as needed.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within your programme team.Requirements:
Programme or project management experience in the aerospace/defence or automotive sector is essential
A proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programmes to demanding customers.
Strong understanding of programme lifecycle, new product introduction, and work transfers (preferred).
Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer relationship management skills.
Solid financial and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasts.
Proficiency in programme management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) is essentialWhy Join Us?
