Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Contract: Full-time / Part-time, Term-time only Start Date: Immediate / Flexible About the Role: Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs in schools across Wandsworth. You will play a key role in helping children access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties. Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies. Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and educational development. Assist with classroom management and differentiated activities. Requirements: Previous SEN experience desirable but not essential. Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
