Behaviour Mentor – Denton – September Start

A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Denton is seeking a resilient and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral support team from September on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of students who may struggle with behaviour, engagement, or emotional regulation.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll work closely with students at risk of exclusion or disengagement, providing one-to-one mentoring, in-class support, and small group sessions focused on building self-esteem, emotional awareness, and positive behaviour strategies. You will also collaborate with teaching and pastoral staff to implement behaviour plans and ensure consistent, supportive intervention.
This role is ideal for candidates with a background in psychology, youth work, sports coaching, or education, and is particularly well-suited to those considering careers in teaching, counselling, or social care.

* Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
