At Saracen Care, we are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Team Leaders. In this role, you will be enabling people with a learning disability or autism to “live their best life” – empowering people with their daily living skills and accessing the community; reaching their goals and realising their aspirations.
This role supports the Care Manager and staff team in daily operations and requires a proactive and effective team member, continuously striving for the best outcomes for the PWS. The Team Leader will ensure the administrative and care needs of the PWS are met, and will monitor, mentor, and guide the support team in accordance with regulatory and organisational policies. The role involves performing care management duties and supporting individuals primarily in the community, with office work as directed.

Responsibilities include:
* Providing emotional and practical support during daily activities, including community access.
* Assisting with domestic duties such as cleaning, cooking, washing, and managing finances.
* Supporting personal care and hygiene.
* Motivating and encouraging individuals through positive engagement.
* Promoting choice and independence to help individuals achieve personal goals.
* Maintaining accurate records following company policies and CQC guidelines.
* Ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing of all individuals, adhering to safer recruitment guidelines.
* Working shifts to support and guide staff.
* Assisting the Care Manager with reviews and assessments of PWS needs, audits, and reviews.
* Working within company policies to ensure high-quality, consistent care, and the health and welfare of PWS and colleagues.
* Maintaining care, rota, and training systems accurately.
* Undertaking staff performance reviews and training as appropriate.
* Participating in training and professional development activities.
* Partaking in ‘On Call’ duties as part of a regular roster.
* Covering shifts as needed.
