Position: Psychology Graduate - Aspiring Clinical Psychologist – SEN - Reigate - Education and Training

The School: Based in Reigate, providing a safe learning environment for primary aged children with severe and complex learning, social, and communication difficulties, including physical disabilities. Offers therapies like occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music, speech, and language therapies as part of EHCP. Facilities include a therapy pool, sensory rooms, and I-Gaze technology. Provides on-site training and support for progression to roles such as senior support assistants, teachers, therapy assistants, etc.
The Children: Children with various needs including Autism, social, emotional needs, severe learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. Some children are non-verbal or require personal and medical care. Training is provided for complex needs. The school operates across 2 sites catering to different needs.
Responsibilities:
Providing assistance and support for children before, during, and after lessons.
Helping children understand and participate in tasks appropriately.
Encouraging development of social skills.
Participating in team meetings and training programs.
Following safeguarding regulations.
Supporting individual needs, including medical and personal care tasks (training provided).
Summary:
Role: Learning Support Assistant for Psychology Graduate - Aspiring Clinical Psychologist.
Pay: £85 to £100 daily (9am-3.30pm, 5-day week).
Contract: Temp to perm.
