About the Opportunity
The Chemistry and Radioanalytical Solutions business at Amentum is recruiting for a Scientific Analyst to be based in Birchwood, Warrington. The Analyst will work with a team of highly qualified technicians, analysts and senior scientists, and will collaborate with a range of national and international clients to run analytical processes and solve tomorrow’s challenges, including operational and decommissioning sites.
Responsibilities
* Analysis of samples for radiochemical and chemical parameters
* Timely delivery of results to the customer
* Working with senior members of staff to deliver the business goals and requirements
* Experience in laboratory activities
* Equipment calibration and maintenance
Requirements
* Graduate or secondary qualifications in Chemistry or other scientific discipline, or comparable knowledge and experience
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to collaborate with colleagues
* Ability to work flexibly on complex problems developing innovative solutions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
