MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To help maintain high levels of service and assist with the smooth running of the kitchens:
· Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
· Assist with basic food preparation as required.
· Collect and wash up pots and pans.
· Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
· Unload food and equipment deliveries.
· Keep the storeroom organised.
· Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
· To be flexible and willing to help other departments at busy times if required.
· To comply with the conditions of the food hygiene policies.
· To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef/GM immediately.
