This niche insurer is experiencing significant growth and seeks to appoint a Risk & Compliance Director (SMF4, SMF16 & SMF17).
We are interested in candidates already operating at this level or those aiming to step into their first SMF role.
The company operates a fully remote working model, allowing you to work from home full-time.
Leading a small team of 5, you will develop and implement the firm’s Risk and Compliance strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards.
You will ensure the risk framework and compliance monitoring plan support business growth and innovation while maintaining safeguards.
You will provide clear, independent reporting to the Board, Risk & Compliance Committee, Audit Committee, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is an experienced Risk and/or Compliance leader from the insurance sector, commercially driven, with a proven track record of adding value through a holistic, long-term approach.
You should have excellent knowledge of FCA, PRA, and Data Protection requirements, with demonstrable experience managing Enterprise Risk frameworks and compliance oversight in a fast-paced, proportionate environment.
