Sinclair Finance & Leasing (SFL) are looking for a full-time Receptionist / Administrator, to be based at its office in Bridgend. This is a small but dynamic and successful company with several business units: a contract hire & leasing business, a vehicle & asset finance operation, used car retail site Sinclair Direct and a vehicle workshop. This role has traditionally been a stepping-stone to career progression within Sinclair Finance & Leasing, a growing business with a terrific, supportive team spirit.

Job Title: Receptionist/Administrator

Location: Bridgend CF31 3NB

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

Hours of Work: 40 hours a week working 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Position Pays: £25,584 per annum (£12.30 per hour)

The Opportunity

As a Receptionist/Administrator you will be responsible for providing a welcoming, helpful and friendly presence for both visitors and callers, managing their requests efficiently and directing them to the appropriate personnel. In addition to this, carry out specific administrative tasks for the various departments.

Requirements for the role:

1. Be welcoming, helpful and friendly with visitors and on the telephone.
2. Possess a variety of computer skills, including experience of operating word processing and database packages, spread sheets, email and internet.
3. Be flexible, proactive and keen to learn.
4. Preferably have a full driving licence.
5. Welcome visitors to the office, including Sinclair Direct and service customers as well as workshop suppliers, and manage their requests.
6. Take incoming telephone calls and route them to the appropriate person.
7. Complete specific administrative tasks required by various departments across the business.
8. Take on additional pieces of work to cover for holidays and absence.
9. Maintain effective liaison with all departments, forming a strong sense of teamwork.
10. Deliver excellent customer service and conduct yourself in a professional manner when handling customer vehicle and administration enquiries.
11. Undertake other tasks and responsibilities, including training courses, as requested by the Management team.
