Frequent work : available Monday to Friday, with start times set between 04:00 to 06:00 and 16:00 to 18:00 Light workload : Trunking, no handball deliveries, curtain side trailer Containers: No unloading/loading, drivers just have to drive Competitive pay : £16 days, £17 nights, £18 Saturday. £19 Sunday Free parking : Convenient access to the depot Supportive environment : be part of a team that values and supports its drivers Your role as an hgv class 1 driver Efficient & safe deliveries : ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations. Communication : keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations. Requirements A minimum of 6 months experience as an hgv class 1 driver. Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence. Must have held a HGV Class 1 Driver licence for at least 1 year Good attention to detail. A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence. Knowledgeable of driving hours and tachograph rules and regulations. Pay & benefits £16.00 to £19.00 per hour holiday entitlement. Ongoing role : secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period. Free parking at the depot. 10 hour shifts typically. 5 shifts per week Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours. ALL PAYE, NO LTD OR UMBRELLA.
