What you will do:
* Work alongside customers who have a wide range of disabilities, including physical, learning, and cognitive disabilities
* Provide a planned programme of therapeutic interventions to maximise functional ability
* Conduct specialist functional assessments to determine eligibility for services
* Undertake environmental ergonomic assessments
* Assess cognitive and functional abilities in relation to daily living tasks
* Evaluate manual handling situations for safety and efficiency
* Collaborate with customers, carers, and staff to reduce dependency and promote independence
* Offer specialist therapist advice and guidance to a variety of stakeholders
* Participate in project work and manage various liaison functions.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
You must possess a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and have recent UK experience, particularly within the NHS. Registered with the HCPC, you bring passion and skill to your work, ensuring high-quality care and intervention for your clients.
