Offer description

Are you an experienced IT professional who thrives in a role that blends hands-on delivery, stakeholder engagement, and strategic improvement?

Who are Spaghetti Bridge?

Spaghetti Bridge is a private equity-backed group of specialist schools helping to support young people with a range of needs facing significant barriers to learning.

With ten schools across the UK, Spaghetti Bridge supports circa 500+ students and 500+ staff. They have ambitious plans to grow further with more schools on the horizon.

‘Where students are the architects of their future’ is their mantra. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated IT Engineer who wants to use tech for good in a collaborative and culture-led environment.

The Role

Spaghetti Bridge is looking for a Regional IT & Systems Partner to take ownership of IT environments across multiple sites within their region, ensuring systems are consistent, reliable, and aligned with operational needs.

This is a partner-style role rather than a ticket-based position — you’ll act as the go‑to IT lead for schools in your region while also supporting the rollout and standardisation of IT frameworks in new schools.

You’ll be responsible for the health, performance, and evolution of IT systems across a defined region, while also contributing to wider group-wide IT initiatives.

The role is remote, with regular travel required across sites (covering areas from Northampton, Gloucester, Swindon and Croydon, plus occasional visits to a central office in Yeovil).

Key Responsibilities

* Audit and assess IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and security across sites
* Establish, implement, and maintain consistent IT standards and best practices
* Resolve complex technical issues that impact business operations
* Provide hands‑on support and technical mentoring
* Design and deliver systems and IT training for non‑technical users
* Support the rollout of new technology and systems, managing change effectively
* Act as the link between regional sites and the central IT & Systems function
* Produce clear reporting on performance, risks, and improvement activity

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience supporting IT environments across multiple locations
* Confident communicator able to translate technical information for non‑technical users
* Experience designing and delivering training (including documentation and e‑learning)
* Solid understanding of infrastructure, networks, and general IT best practice
* Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
* Comfortable working independently, prioritising workload, and travelling regularly

Personal Attributes

* Proactive, adaptable, and solutions‑driven
* High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
* Able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Comfortable operating with autonomy in a regional role

Package

* Remote working with regional travel
* Opportunity to influence systems, standards, and long‑term IT strategy
