Quality Controller
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Controller to join our dedicated Quality Control Team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career in Quality. The Quality Controller is responsible for carrying out control processes to ensure TNGB quality standards, compliance and targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily quality checks and audits.
* Control of incoming raw materials and finished product samples.
* Maintain company status with all relevant industry quality accreditations (e.g., UFAS, ISO).
* Promote all aspects of Quality Control with all departments in the workplace.
* Investigate problems effectively and in a timely manner, involving appropriate personnel as required.
* Carry out daily duties in accordance with company guidelines to ensure the health and safety of self and colleagues.
* Fortnightly plant hygiene audits.
* Writing and generation of ad hoc reports and involvement in inter‑departmental projects.
Qualifications
• Similar experience in a manufacturing or quality‑related background.
• Ideally a science‑related qualification and/or knowledge of HACCP/Food safety issues.
• Strong administration and IT skills, genuine interest in achieving high quality standards, keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, work efficiently between different tasks and projects, both independently and in a team.
• Flt licence an advantage but not essential.
Work Hours
Flexible approach to hours: shift pattern 6:00 am – 6:00 pm with occasional weekend work.
