Ecosulis, a leader in nature restoration and ecological consulting, is seeking a graduate/trainee Landscaper to join our team. In this role, you will work on projects that restore natural habitats, contributing positively to the environment. About the role
Start your career in ecological and sustainable landscaping with Ecosulis.
You’ll support the delivery of nature recovery and habitat creation projects, gaining hands-on experience in environments like wetlands, meadows, and woodlands. You’ll develop skills in sustainable land management and ecological restoration, building a foundation for your future career.
Within your first 12 months, we’ll work with you to create a tailored Personal Development Plan (PDP) that aligns with your strengths and goals, outlining the training, skills, and experience needed to progress into a Landscaper role.

Key Responsibilities include:
Habitat Creation & Restoration
* Assist with planting, seeding, and establishing native habitats such as wildflower meadows, scrubland, and wetlands.
* Develop practical skills in creating natural features that support and enhance wildlife.
* Support the identification and safe removal of invasive plant species.
* Learn methods to promote biodiversity by protecting and encouraging native plants and ecosystems.
* Help build and maintain habitat structures like ponds, hibernacula, and wildlife corridors.
* Carry out land management tasks aligned with conservation goals.
* Assist with monitoring the health of plants and soils to ensure habitat success.
* Support data collection and ongoing care for restored sites.
Safety and use of tools and machinery
* Safely operate landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., strimmers, brush cutters, chainsaws).
* Gain qualifications and experience with landscaping tools and machinery.
* Assist with routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
* Help prepare sites by removing turf, installing fencing, and applying mulch.
* Maintain clean and safe working areas.
* Work with ecologists, contractors, and project managers to support project delivery.
* Communicate professionally with team members and stakeholders.
* Follow health and safety policies to ensure a secure environment.
* Implement Ecosulis’ sustainable practices.
* Be willing to work at various sites, including remote locations, and travel as needed.

* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
Ecosulis will provide accredited training within your first six months, including courses such as CSCS, HAVS, Spill Management, COSHH, and others listed below.
