Payroll & Benefits Manager
Office Based, Mayfair/Green Park, London
£65,000 + 5% annual bonus
(5days per week in office for 3 months, 14month FTC +)
A highly regarded luxury hospitality group is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee payroll operations across 3 UK entities and 400 colleagues.
This is an exciting and pivotal role within the business, ensuring in-house payroll is delivered with accuracy, discretion and care, while also shaping and managing the company’s employee benefits offering.
Working closely with the HR & Finance Teams, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless payroll experience for colleagues across the group, while maintaining full compliance with UK legislation.
This is a proactive and people facing position, meaning that the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and communication effectively at all levels is absolutely crucial.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing end-to-end payroll across UK entities
* Supporting and proactively managing employee benefits across the group - including sourcing new benefits and market research
* Acting as the trusted contact for payroll queries, providing clear, supportive guidance and coaching to colleagues across the business
* Handling tronc, overtime, multiple payroll cycles and statutory requirements
* Ensuring full compliance with HMRC, pensions and National Minimum Wage legislation
* Working closely with HR and Finance to maintain accurate records and reporting
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has hospitality payroll experience in the last 5 years (absolutely essential due to tronc)
* Is CIPP or alike qualified
* Has managed payroll in a multi-site or fast-paced environment
* Is confident with payroll systems (Fourth or Dayforce very helpful)
* Brings precision, discretion and a genuinely supportive approach
