We are recruiting for a Breakfast Assistant to join our Food & Beverage team at The Swan in Tarporley. Competitive hourly rate, depending on age and experience, plus Tronc and employee discount. Hours are 6.45am until 3pm weekdays and pm weekends. Preference will be given to those who are barista trained. This is a sole charge role, during breakfast hours so confidence and maturity is a must.
The Swan is a great British pub with 16 boutique bedrooms and a stunning function suite, at the heart of the historic village of Tarporley. Due to a busy high street the pub is busy during the day with guests enjoying breakfast, coffee and lunches.
The role involves managing breakfast service, opening up the building to create the perfect atmosphere for breakfast and looking after our hotel guests ensuring their breakfast experience is perfect.
You would be responsible for:
* Delivering hands on, customer service and maintain a high standard of customer management, at all times
* Opening up the building, ensuring music, lighting and temperature are perfect
* Using the till and PDQs to process payments
* Having strong knowledge of the menu and drinks offering to enable you to provide the guest with the best experience possible whilst maximising revenue opportunities.
* Preparing tea and coffee to House standards
* Delivering food and clearing tables
* Delivering drinks to tables
* Being aware of and adhere to licensing, data protection, Health & Safety at Work and COSHH legislation, at all times
* Communicating effectively with the wider team and work closely with the bar and kitchen team
* Always adhering to all company policies and procedures and licensing law
