NHS Band 3 Healthcare Assistant (ENT) 0 Hour Contract - Flexible Working Location: Milton Keynes (with travel required across Bedfordshire) Service: Community ENT Clinics About the role: We are expanding our community ENT services across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes and are recruiting motivated Band 3 Healthcare Assistants to support ENT clinics operating throughout these locations. This flexible 0hour contract is ideal for HCAs looking to gain specialist outpatient experience within ENT while maintaining control over their working patterns. You will work closely with consultants and specialist nurses to deliver safe, patientcentred care in community clinic settings. This role provides excellent development opportunities for individuals looking to progress within communitybased clinical healthcare. What you will do: Prepare clinic rooms and equipment for ENT assessments Act as chaperone during consultations and minor ENT procedures Support in minor procedures, including scope handling Support patients throughout their clinic journey Assist with administrative duties and ensure smooth clinic flow Maintain clinical supplies and ensure a safe and organised environment Travel to community clinic sites across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes as required Provide flexible weekday and weekend availability Services operate 7 days per week, with shifts typically between 07:00 - 18:00, depending on service demand. Requirements: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential) Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker Comfortable working in busy outpatient or community settings Strong communication and patientcare skills IT literate Willing to travel across multiple clinic sites in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes Able to offer flexible availability (0hour contract) Comprehensive induction and ENTspecific training will be provided.
