We are excited to work with a College in Surrey to offer an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join a Technology department. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching across various levels of Motor Vehicle Service courses, contributing to the development of our students and the continuous improvement of the institution.
Motor Vehicle Lecturer
* Annual Salary: £31,990 - £41,718
* Location: Surrey
* Job Type: Full-time
Day-to-day of the role of a Motor Vehicle Lecturer:
* Prepare and teach courses related to Motor Vehicle Service, including PHEV, Electrical Vehicle, MOT Test, Air Conditioning, and Repair courses.
* Work closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager, and the Engineering team to enhance educational programs.
* Act as a personal tutor providing pastoral care, promoting attendance, and supporting students in attaining suitable work placements.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development, and review activities within the subject area.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Motor Vehicle Lecturer role :
* Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a discipline related to Motor Vehicle Service and Repair.
* GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
* Minimum of Level 3 Teaching qualification or commitment to work towards it.
* Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
* Up-to-date industry knowledge and skills.
