The Role
As a Restoration Technician, you'll be on the front line of our operations, working on properties damaged by fire and water. Key responsibilities include:
* Investigating, stabilising, and restoring damaged buildings and contents
* Surveying sites, collecting accurate data, and mapping damage
* Installing drying equipment and creating drying/decontamination plans
* Recording reports, photos, and videos to support client claims
* Maintaining safe working practices, PPE, and professional standards
* Ensuring equipment, vehicles, and warehouse stock are properly maintained and recorded
This is a practical role where you'll be working directly with customers, insurers, and colleagues to bring damaged properties back to life.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in the damage management industry (BDMA qualified preferred)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to reassure and support customers
* Practical knowledge of drying and decontamination methods
* Good IT literacy for data recording and reporting
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexible approach – willing to work additional hours during surge conditions
