Secondary English Teachers Required – Bury St Edmunds
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary English Teachers for daily, short‑term supply cover at a variety of secondary schools and academies in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area.
The Role
Day:to:Day English cover: manage your own diary and work the days that suit you. Deliver engaging pre‑planned English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 without the burden of planning, grading, or parents' evenings. Gain experience in a range of secondary settings, from large academies to smaller schools.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in English.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to confidently deliver the secondary English curriculum.
* Effective classroom management strategies to quickly engage students and foster a positive learning environment with new classes.
* A flexible, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt to different school policies.
* A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
