About the Role:
We're looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and wants to be part of a hotel that's growing and striving to be the best in the area. As our Hotel Operations Assistant, you'll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly — from the cleanliness of the rooms to the atmosphere in the lobby.
You'll help ensure the hotel looks its best every day, guests have an excellent experience, and the team stays organised and efficient. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and pride in presentation truly matter.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out regular room checks to make sure every room meets our quality and cleanliness standards
* Refill and organise all supplies for rooms and shared spaces (toiletries, linen, refreshments, etc.)
* Keep the hotel's lobby, corridors, and exterior looking clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times
* Direct cleaning staff and ensure daily cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard
* Monitor stock levels and organise supply orders to keep everything running smoothly
* Report any maintenance or repair issues and ensure they're followed up promptly
* Greet and assist guests, providing friendly and professional service at all times
* Support management in daily operations and help drive overall improvements across the hotel
About You:
* You take pride in creating an exceptional guest experience
* You have a sharp eye for detail and like things done properly
* You care about presentation, organisation, and high standards
* You're reliable, proactive, and always ready to help where needed
* You want to be part of a hotel that's improving and growing — and take pride in being part of that success
* Previous hospitality experience is helpful but not required — attitude, care, and consistency matter most
Schedule:
* Full-time, including weekends and occasional evenings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,420.00-£32,214.33 per year
Application question(s):
* Do you drive?
Experience:
* Hotel/Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
