We are delighted to be working with a well-established Accountancy firm who have an excellent reputation across the East Yorkshire region who are looking for a new member of their team due to continued growth. They would be open to candidates who are full or part-time for this new job opportunity.
What the Semi Senior Accountant job involves
* Working autonomously, you will be looking after a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
* Meeting clients on a regular basis, either face to face or over video call, to build long term relationships with each and every one of them.
* You will be preparing unincorporated and company accounts for a number of different types of clients from a variety of sectors.
* Filing VAT returns and bookkeeping as well as completing basic tax returns.
Skills required
* Experience of using finance packages such as Xero or Quickbooks
* Experience of working with an Accountancy practice.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Able to work as part of a wider team.
* Either qualified by experience, part qualified with (ACA or ACCA) or AAT.

Other information
* This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week or they would look at a min of 25 hours a week
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays that will increase after time
* Car parking is available
* Based in central Beverely and easily accessible on public transport
