Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council's Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £35 per hour.

Responsibilities:
11. You will have the creativity, motivation and passion to deliver excellent services and improve outcomes to ensure a positive difference and brighter future for our children and young people.
12. You will have a strong career background within children and families and have sound knowledge within Fostering, as well as having comprehensive understanding of all fostering regulations and legislation statutory guidance and processes.
13. You will manage a diverse, complex and varied caseload, always being child centered in your approach.
14. You will bring your knowledge and expertise to the role to work in order to make effective decisions in recruiting and assessing our foster carers in ensuring we offer the best stable placements for our children and young people.
15. You will assess, supervise and support Friends and Family Foster Carers and prospective Special Guardians to a high standard, to support children remaining within friends and family networks where safe and possible if they are unable to remain with their parents.
16. Undertake comprehensive Fostering and SGO assessments of prospective Carers.
17. Supervise and support foster carers in meeting the needs of looked after children.
18. Attend court as and when necessary.
19. Contribute to the overall development of services for children and their families.
Requirements:
20. Social Work Degree or equivalent
21. Social Work England registered
22. Enhanced DBS
