We have an opportunity for you. Our Adult Learning Tutors play a key role in shaping and expanding our offer to meet both local needs and national priorities.
We are seeking to appoint a committed Adult Skills Tutors to join our dedicated team within Doncaster's Adult Family & Community Learning service.
Our team currently delivers high-quality learning opportunities to adults of all ages and abilities across a broad curriculum, including Functional Skills in Maths and English, ESOL, and Digital Skills. Our new curriculum in 25/26 will deliver more employability focused skills in various sectors, so we are keen to hear from tutors who could deliver a very diverse curriculum. This new post will enhance the flexibility and reach of our provision, enabling us to better respond to the diverse needs of our learners.
The primary focus of this role is to engage individuals who are furthest from formal education—particularly those with limited or no prior qualifications—and support them to develop essential skills that improve their confidence, independence, and employability.
We are looking for a tutor who:
* Demonstrates a strong commitment to inclusive and learner-centred education
* Has experience in delivering flexible and responsive adult learning programmes
* Is passionate about supporting individuals to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes
