Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: Basic salary of £[amount], with potential to earn up to £[amount], including sleep-in shifts.
We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Team Leader to join our established Residential Team at Bayview. You will work in one of our family-oriented children’s homes in Capernwray, Carnforth, accommodating a maximum of four young people per home.
The role involves supporting young people aged [age range] with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, helping them succeed, and supporting our ethos. You will contribute to providing a safe, secure, homely, and positive environment to improve the lives of children and young adults in our care.
Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in leading and managing daily operations to enhance residents' quality of life. All our homes are rated ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and you will help in maintaining and improving this standard. You will also deputise for the Registered Manager when necessary.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving license and a Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children & Young People.

Provision of Childcare:
* Develop and review care plans for each child, ensuring standards are met and documented appropriately.
* Adhere to legal requirements, Ofsted standards, and company policies.
* Maintain communication with residents, families, and relevant authorities.
* Ensure staff behavior aligns with standards and address deviations professionally.
* Create an open, friendly, and inclusive environment for children and staff.
* Build positive relationships with children and support their development.
Business Management and Improvement:
* Manage daily operations and deputise for the Registered Manager when absent.
* Monitor expenditure and ensure budget adherence.
* Assist with menu planning, cooking, and shopping.
* Lead staff meetings and contribute to the annual development plan.
* Identify and address business issues promptly.
* Seek ongoing professional development through training and workshops.
Staff Management:
* Manage staff fairly, ensuring low turnover and high standards.
* Handle staff absences and conduct performance reviews.
* Ensure staff comply with health and safety policies.
* Maintain high personal hygiene and presentation standards among staff.
