The Accounts and Audit Senior will play a key role in managing audit and accounting assignments for a variety of clients. Description Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations. Prepare financial statements and management reports for clients. Support with personal and corporate tax returns. Supervise and mentor junior team members to support their professional development. Review and finalise work completed by junior staff to ensure accuracy and quality. Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on accounting and tax matters. Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and long-term partnerships. Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within the department. Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated services to clients. Profile A Successful Accounts And Audit Senior Should Have Professional qualifications in accounting (AAT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). Experience managing audit and accounting assignments within the professional services industry. Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
