Overview
The Pharmacy Department is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to support us in the delivery of pharmacy services at HMP Low Newton. Whether you are starting out in your healthcare journey or are an experienced healthcare professional looking for a new challenge we’ve got a role for you!
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to enhance your pharmacy skills, we can offer a wide range of training and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security. You will be required to support the delivery of Pharmacy Services which will include supply of medication, supervision of administration of medication to prisoners, and providing services to service users within your competency.
