About the role:
You will be working as a Senior Theatre Nurse / ODP and will be responsible for:
1. To provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative department and to assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub Team in the operating department across a range of clinical specialities.
2. Discuss, agree and explain the responsibilities for the assessment of patients including their needs and any associated risks.
3. Plan, delivery and evaluate care to meet patient’s health and wellbeing, keeping within policies and procedures inline for the highest quality clinic outcomes
4. Effective verbal and written commination with patients and colleagues, with customer service standards front of mind
5. Working well independently and within a team
Who we’re looking for;
6. Be NMC/ HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
7. Eligibility to live and work in the UK
8. At least 2 years UK experience working in scrub
9. Experience working in a busy environment under minimal supervision
10. Experience in orthopaedics, hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments reconstruction is desirable
