Job Description A well-established and leading manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire is looking for Production Planninng Controller to join the business. This is a full-time permanent position working in a busy, fast-paced, demanding environment. Working Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday and offers attractive salary & great company benefits. The successful Production Controller will be responsible for: Plan production schedules across the factory to maximise performance and reduce delays. Use Tekla to divide steelwork into packages based on erection sequences. Allocate steel using StruMis, matching purchased steel to project needs. Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring material availability. Handle multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with internal teams. The ideal Production Planning Controller will have previous relevant experience of working in a production planning role ideally within a manufacturing or construction environment. Knowledge of steel materials and fabrication processes would be beneficial as would experience with Tekla and StruMis (or similar systems). You should have strong problem-solving skills and be educated to a good standard with technical or industry-relevant qualifications. The Production Planning Controller role offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits and the working hours are Monday – Thursday: 08:30–17:15 and Friday: 08:30 – 15:00 and is commutable from Pickering, Malton, Scarborough, Driffield & surrounding areas.
