About the Music Department The department offers: • A modern music suite with rehearsal rooms and practice spaces • A digital composition and recording studio • Strong uptake at KS3 and growing numbers at KS4 • Choirs, bands, orchestras and ensembles • Multiple performance opportunities throughout the year About the Role • Teaching Music at KS3–KS4 • Supporting or leading school ensembles, choirs and musical activities • Contributing to productions, concerts and performance events • Participating in ECT mentoring, coaching and CPD • Helping shape curriculum planning and resource development • Inspiring students of all abilities to enjoy and succeed in Music Experience and Qualifications • Degree in Music • PGCE with QTS (ECT) • Strong musical background (performance/composition) • Passionate about music education and school arts culture Salary Paid to scale – MPS (ECT level).
