You are the first face and first conversation visitors to Gateway Recovery Centre in Widnes will experience. What you will be doing:
In this exciting role at Gateway Recovery Centre, a service for people with complex Mental Health requirements, each day brings different challenges and experiences. Working along side the reception team your key responsibilities will be welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner, co-ordinating the office diary for meetings and events and efficiently handling telephone calls, emails and post.
Ensuring the safety and security of service users, staff and visitors is a top priority. You’ll oversee visitor sign ins, conduct security checks and manage the distribution of keys and security badges.

As a Receptionist you will be:
* Welcoming all visitors in a friendly manner and ensuring the sign the visitor book
* Maintaining the upkeep of the reception area & meeting rooms are presentable
* Managing the office diary for meetings, events, training days and therapy sessions
* Ensuring confidentially and security to the service
* Receiving and dealing with telephone calls, emails and post
* Ad hoc administration tasks
* Ensuring all appropriate leaflets and brochures are on display
* Managing deliveries
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience
* Computer skills
* Communication and interpersonal skills
* Must be professional, confident and diplomatic
* GCSE English Language Grade C or above
* Be efficient and enthusiastic
* Awareness of understanding confidentiality and security
* Ability work alongside a team and independently
* Must be welcoming and self-motivated

Location: Bennett’s Lane, Widnes, Warrington, WA8 0GT
You will be working at the Gateway Recovery Centre, a state-of-the-art facility, providing care for people with complex mental Health requirements to reduce risk behaviours associated with Mental Health conditions so that people in your care can ultimately live successful and fulfilling lives within the community.
The service is split into four distinct areas:
* Male Autism Service for the challenging and complex needs of adults with Autism and Asperger’s syndrome
* Assessment and rehabilitation for women with complex Mental Health needs and personality difficulties
* Specialist inpatient service for older men with complex Mental Health and physical health needs
* Low secure care setting for men with a mental illness with or without personality disorder/mild Learning Disabilities
