🔐 We're Hiring: OT Cyber Security Engineer
📍 Location: Stone, Staffordshire (Hybrid options available)

Capula is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation & Control Systems Cyber Security Engineer to join our Operational Technology team. You’ll work on live and upcoming projects across critical infrastructure sectors including energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing—designing secure OT networks and leading advanced threat mitigation strategies.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
* Design and secure OT networks across regulated industries
* Lead threat modelling, penetration testing, and red teaming in ICS environments
* Engineer security solutions aligned with NIST, ISO, IEC, and NIS-R standards
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and forensic investigations in OT/ICS environments
* Mentor junior engineers and support business development
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years in cybersecurity, including 2+ years in ICS/SCADA environments (PLCs, RTUs, HMI systems)
* Strong understanding of ICS protocols: MODBUS, OPC, DNP3
* Experience securing cross-domain IT/OT interfaces and real-time systems
* Proven ability to design secure networks: switching, routing, firewalls
* Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK for ICS, Bow-Tie Analysis, and adversary simulation
* Hands-on experience with tools like Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, fuzzing tools
* Knowledge of compliance frameworks: NIST 800-53/800-82, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, HSE OG-86, NIS-R
* Experience with DFIR operations in industrial environments (e.g., VxWorks, Embedded Linux, WinCC, PCS 7)
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams
* Eligible for SC clearance
