The In-Line Inspection business delivers pipeline Inspection services to operators of oil & gas pipelines around the globe. Reporting to the ILI Engineering Director, the Senior Engineering Manager – is responsible for leading a team of technical specialists, to support & enhance existing products and to develop new technology and products to enhance PPS’s leading position in the Global market. Essential Responsibilities: Research, technology and new product development, for a specific set of ILI platform, including: Development of long term, Multi-Generational Technology Plans Research & technology development activities All new product development activities To ensure the ongoing reliable performance of existing products and services, including: All aspects of performance including reporting specification and mechanical and electronic & reliability Managing the allocation of sustaining engineering resources to best meet business needs To lead a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers Engagement with ILI leadership & external stakeholders on ILI technology and product development As part of the engineering leadership team, lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of the engineering function Qualifications/Requirements: Degree qualified in Engineering, Science, or relevant STEM discipline Deep domain knowledge of In-line inspection technologies Extensive product development management experience & a track record of delivery of new product development projects Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical team of scientists and engineers Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting at executive management level Excellent technical comprehension and an ability to analyze and solve problems Experienced in influencing and gaining solutions in a cross-functional / matrix environment Desired Qualifications: Management of geographically dispersed teams Pipeline integrity engineering and management Intellectual property management About Us: We are an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide.
