Job purpose:
Responsible for ensuring that all New Directions brands have a steady flow of candidates available for placing into work.
Main duties:
12. Safeguarding the organisation by completing risk and suitability assessments on candidate applications
13. Adhering to ND’s compliance, vetting and registration processes
14. Managing large quantities of candidate documents and ensuring all are valid and original seen
15. Ensuring references are completed as per ND’s referencing policy
16. DBS submission and countersigning
17. Conduct thorough risk assessments in relation to DBS’ and reference information
18. Conduct regular checks with governing bodies such as EWC, TRA and Update Service
19. Conduct regular right to work checks with governing bodies such as Share Code checks and Employer Checking Service
20. Auditing and making files live, ensuring attention to detail
21. Consistently working to reduce candidate turn around time
22. Meeting set KPI’s and SLA’s
23. Support with the training of new team members
24. Handling safeguarding referral status change requests In absence of a team member, support with workload where required
Main responsibilities:
25. Responsible for providing a steady flow of Compliance approved supply staff
26. Responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and ensuring that you take reasonable care not to put other people (including fellow employees and members of the public) at risk by what you do or do not do in the course of your job
27. Responsible for safeguarding assets within your control and posession, including but not limited to hardware, software, systems, or information, and to report any suspected breach in security without delay, to the relevant personnel as required
28. Responsible for the non-disclosure of any confidential information and/or trade secrets of the Company to third parties and/or the misuse of any confidential information and/or trade secrets of the Company for your own purpose/benefit
29. Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and developing excellent working relationships with colleagues within your department and the wider Company
30. Responsible for delivering exceptional levels of customer service; both to internal and external customers Responsible for communicating with people in a respectful, courteous, and professional manner at all times
Education/Experience:
31. Minimum of A Level or equivalent or proven experience in administrative skills
Essential Skills:
32. Developed time management skills– plan and prioritise effectively
33. Ability to make decisions using policies and procedures
34. Communication skills – verbal and written
35. Customer Service – ability to build rapport
36. Ability to work as part of a team
