The role |
As a Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering outstanding results.

* Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes. Prioritize nurturing and developing talent within your team, role modelling a coaching culture within management.
* Ensure an excellent guest experience, with every dish prepared to exceptional standards, whether through your own efforts or by empowering your team with necessary skills and mindset.
* Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards in your kitchen, understand financial performance including gross profit, stock control, and labour costs, and proactively spot opportunities.
* Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development. Foster personal and professional growth.
* Be a forward-thinking problem solver, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions.
What we look for |
* An experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced, complex environment.
* A strong communicator who engages in genuine conversations with consideration and care, ensuring your team feels supported.
* Experience in maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards.
* Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
* Experience managing labour costs, reacting to changing demands.
* An inspiring leader who motivates their team to flourish in their roles and careers.
* Passionate about creating an inclusive environment where the team feels respected and they belong.
* A forward-thinking problem solver, quick to adapt and decide.
