Job description
Cover Supervisors – Brighton
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for Cover Supervisors across Brighton to work in a diverse mix of secondary schools across the region.
Do you have experience of covering full classes?
Perhaps you’ve been working in a setting that requires you to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviour?
Are you looking for ad-hoc and temporary work?
Working as a Cover Supervisor in our schools will see you become an integral part of the cover team. Your role will be to cover various lessons throughout the day, ensuring that behaviour is maintained whilst in lessons.
You will be working with various abilities throughout the day, and you’ll have the chance to experience different subjects. You do not need to know the subject content as your key role is to manage behaviour effectively.
These opportunities are designed to offer you flexibility around your working life and will be on an ad-hoc/temporary basis.
Ideally, you will have at least 6 weeks classroom, or school based experience, although we are interested to work with anyone who has worked within youth care or behavioural support.
Confidence is a must in this role, and you mustn’t shy away from a challenge!
