Administration Assistant - 1 year fixed term contact

We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to join our administration team at our Rother operational site in the Household Waste Division. If you're looking for a role that offers variety, collaboration, and the chance to make an impact, this is a great opportunity to grow with us!
Your core responsibilities
1. Responding to day-to-day administration queries via phone and email.
2. Assisting the team with fleet paperwork, round information distribution, and maintaining PPE records.
3. Ensuring site stock levels are kept up-to-date and managing waste weight ticket information.
4. Key tasks include data entry into company databases, collating and sending information via email, and managing spreadsheets in Excel.
5. Using company systems to ensure stock is ordered efficiently.

6. Friendly, approachable, and a true team player – someone who enjoys working with others to achieve shared goals.
7. A clear communicator – you should be able to confidently engage with team members and external customers via phone, email, and in writing.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office – basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
9. Adaptable and eager to learn – you'll be keen to pick up new skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
