Job Advert: Mechanical Assembly Technician Location: Leamington Spa Contract Type: Temp to Perm Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 per annum Recruitable Staffing Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Technician on behalf of our client, a leading UK-based manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company renowned for its engineering expertise and innovation, with over 40 years of industry experience. Role Overview As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you’ll play a key role in assembling, modifying, and fitting mechanical components and systems.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical systems and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Follow detailed assembly instructions and processes to maintain product quality.

Inspect and test assemblies to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards. Identify and report any issues or discrepancies during the assembly process. Carry out troubleshooting, rework, and repair tasks when required.

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies; participate in safety training and audits. Document assembly procedures and update records as needed.

Suggest improvements and corrective actions for continuous process optimisation. Key Competencies and Experience Essential: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Mechanical assembly Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems Working with diesel engines or transmissions Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Effective communication and teamwork skills. Experience with standard measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Desirable: Certification for operating cherry pickers and forklifts.

Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety practices. Experience working to quality and production standards. Please note: Sponsorship and relocation support are not available for this role.
