The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students aged 16-25 years old with primary diagnoses such as:
* High functioning Autism
* Mental health difficulties (SEMH)
* Complex needs
* Has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
Campus Features:

Curriculum:
* Individualised learning programmes focusing on functional skills, vocational training, and independence
* Emphasis on communication, social skills, and preparation for adulthood
Therapeutic Support:
* Speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioural support integrated into daily routines
Who We Are Looking For
* SEN / Autism based experience in or out of an educational setting
* Mental health experience in or out of an educational setting
* Understanding of challenging behaviours
* Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies
* Able to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and safely
Working Hours / Benefits

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
