The job itself
Bridlington Town Council serves a community of over 38,000 registered electors and is seeking to recruit a Project Officer. The council occupies its own offices within the town centre and the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the Town Clerk and Councillors in existing Civic and public events, as well as identifying and developing areas of the Town using approved funding sources.
The Town Council seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team working to benefit the Bridlington community. The position is for 20 hours per week on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract with a view to becoming permanent, subject to a 6-month probation review. The salary offered will be £14.38/hour, dependant on age and experience. We also offer an attractive pension package.
