As a Technology Service Desk Assistant, you'll be a key part of our Technology Services team, helping colleagues across the organisation and providing admin support, system updates and first‑line IT assistance. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, people‑focused and eager to learn more about tech in a supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll make a real impact by:
Helping to take, log and manage support tickets as part of our busy Service Desk team.
Providing friendly, patient first‑line technical support to colleagues.
Keeping our IT asset register up to date, from equipment orders to warranty paperwork.
Ordering IT equipment, monitoring stock levels and supporting purchasing processes.
Maintaining our system documentation and knowledge base.
Supporting Technology Services colleagues with admin tasks, including scheduling meetings and managing telecommunications admin.
Making sure all records, documents and data are accurate and well‑maintained.
What You'll Have
Great communication skills, you enjoy helping people and making things easy to understand.
Good IT, numeracy and literacy skills, with experience using Microsoft Office.
The ability to organise your work, meet deadlines and keep accurate records.
Experience working in a customer‑focused environment.
An understanding of and commitment to inclusive, respectful working.
