Make a real difference in your community
Are you passionate about helping people and making homes warmer, healthier, and more affordable?
We’re looking for a Home Energy Advice Officer to join East Lindsey District Council on a fixed term contract of 12 months. You will play a key role in improving the lives of local residents through an exciting and innovative energy support programme.
In this role, you won’t just be offering advice—you’ll be making a tangible difference, working directly with residents to help them reduce energy costs, improve their homes, and access vital support.
You’ll also be part of our ERIC the Energy Van initiative, bringing energy advice directly into communities across South & East Lincolnshire—ensuring no one is left behind. You will also work closely with partner agencies to ensure safeguarding and appropriate cross‑referrals, helping secure the best possible outcomes for residents across multiple areas of need.
Due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach is essential, with the requirement to attend some evening and weekend commitments such as community events and meetings. While a background in energy efficiency would be beneficial, full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to grow your knowledge and understanding in this expanding sector.
If you are interested in having a confidential conversation about the role, please contact Rachel Harwood at Rachel.Harwood@e-lindsey.gov.uk or 07385 025273.
