Job Description
As a Relief Housekeeping Assistant with CrossReach, you will help keep our home clean, safe and welcoming for older people. You will step in when needed to maintain high standards of hygiene and comfort, ensuring every space reflects the respect and dignity we offer to those in our care. What your day could involve
* Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and shared areas to a high standard
* Supporting residents to keep their personal spaces tidy and comfortable
* Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
* Assisting new colleagues to learn housekeeping routines
* Following Health and Safety and COSHH procedures
* Taking part in training and team meetings when required
About you
You take pride in your work and care about creating a warm, welcoming environment. You are reliable, thoughtful and happy to help wherever needed. No formal experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a caring attitude. Experience in a care setting is an advantage. You will have basic computer skills, be a member of the PVG Scheme and feel comfortable working within CrossReach’s Christian ethos, helping to promote respect, kindness and community.
