Job Summary
As a Studio Manager, you will be responsible for running your home Studio successfully. The main function of this role is to drive revenue and profitability, manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Studio, as well as manage and support the team. You will champion exceptional customer service within the Studio, create a happy working environment for employees and ensure continual financial growth and meeting KPI’s. The candidate must have hands‑on experience with customers and previous experience working within beauty, retail or spa environments. NVQ level 3 beauty is preferred but not required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure all teams KPI targets are consistently met and provide step‑by‑step feedback and coaching tools to teams when targets are not achieved.
* Maintain a strong focus on client loyalty, assess occupancy rates and inspire the team to continually improve occupancy and rebook goals.
* Manage Studio inventory to ensure the Studio is stocked with the necessary products and tools/equipment required to carry out the full range of workouts.
* Ensure all team members adapt client conversations where appropriate, strengthening interaction and engagement at all stages of the workout, thereby maximizing every sales opportunity to achieve all set KPI’s.
* Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they are fully aware of FaceGym’s culture, ways of working, and operational practices.
* Take ownership of Studio targets, breaking them down and communicating them on a daily basis so all team members work toward their daily goals.
* Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines for sterilization and storage of all equipment, ensuring Studios and workstations are clean and presentable.
* Support the team in overcoming selling challenges, create retail theatre to attract and entice new customers, and actively train and develop each team member as needed.
* Confidently manage and resolve customer complaints and challenges in the Studio and over the phone, working closely with customer care to ensure complaints are dealt with effectively and promptly.
* Ensure an inclusive environment in the Studio at all times, embedding Family Values and creating a supportive, respectful environment.
* Maintain flexibility to step in and cover workouts as needed, such as when there is trainer sickness or annual leave.
